1. Charge the battery fully before first use — the indicator tells you when it's ready.

A few minutes of care keeps it running like new:

• Before first use, wrap the threaded fittings (wand, hose, handle) with plumber's tape and hand-tighten. This heads off the small leaks that can show up at the connections.

• Flush clean water through the tank, hose, and wand after every use — especially after herbicides or fertilizer — so residue doesn't clog the tip or wear the seals.

• If you can, keep one sprayer for weed killer and another for everything else to avoid cross-contaminating sensitive plants. (One more reason the 2-pack earns its keep.)

• Store indoors, out of direct sun and freezing temps. If it sits unused, top off the battery charge every couple months so it holds its life.

• Hang on to the spare O-rings in the box — if a fitting ever weeps, swapping the seal fixes it in seconds.
