Does it clean up grass clippings after mowing?

Yes, and that's a lot of people's favorite use for it.
Mow first, then make a pass with the sweeper. It picks up the clippings your mower throws out and leaves behind, so you get a finished lawn instead of a striped one with rows of cut grass sitting on top.
It also lifts light thatch while it goes, which is good for the grass underneath.
Can it actually pick up dog poop?

Dry, yes. Fresh, no.
The brushes sweep dried waste right up along with the leaves, which is why a lot of dog owners use it for a quick yard pass. Anything still soft is going to smear and get into the bristles, so give it a day or clear those by hand first.
If you plan to use it for this regularly, rinse the hopper bag out now and then and it stays fine.
Which size should I get?

21 inch for small yards, tight gates, and quick touch-ups.
26 inch for a normal suburban yard. This is the one most people land on.
30 inch for big lawns and yards with real trees, because wider means fewer passes and fewer trips to dump.
All three are the same build and the same brush system. Only the width and the hopper capacity change. Almost nobody tells us they wish they had bought the smaller one.
Will it damage my grass?

No. It sweeps, it doesn't dig.
The brushes are soft PP bristles and they sit at whatever height you set them to, with 10 levels to choose from. Set them for your grass length and they skim the top of the lawn and lift debris off it.
The only way to cause a problem is setting the brushes way too low in long grass, which makes it hard to push long before it does anything to your lawn. If it's fighting you, raise it a notch.
Which size should I get?

Bigger yard, bigger sweeper. The 30 inch is our best seller for a reason. It covers more ground per pass and runs heavier reinforced bristles. The 21 inch is fine for a small patch, but if you've got real yard to cover, go 30 and thank yourself later.
Does it work on a slope?

Gentle slopes, no problem. Steep grades get to be work.
You're the engine, so anything you can comfortably walk a loaded wheelbarrow up, you can sweep. On a real hill, go across it rather than straight up, and dump the hopper more often so you're not pushing a full bag uphill.
