This manual vac is so much better than the old manual vacs that hook up in the skimmer. This is the first year that we have had issues with the pool. First could not get the chemicals balanced. Then once we did, we had dead algae dust on the bottom of pool and our robot vac could not pick it up and only redistributed into the pool water. I know that I will need to vacuum this several times to be rid of it, but with the fabric filter picking up the dust we have a chance to be rid of it. Can't go too fast, but slow and steady and it will clear.
